Homemade Pizza!

1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups bread flour, olive oil, salt, seasoning, white sugar and the yeast mixture; stir well to combine. Beat well until a stiff dough has formed. Cover and rise until doubled in volume.

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
6 fluid ounces water (1 can full)
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
(oregano and basil can be replace with italian seasoning)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
salt to taste

1. Mix all ingredients and stir!

Once the dough is done spread it on a round greased pizza pan (it should be fairly thin). Brush the the dough with melted butter and garlic powder. Apply sauce and toppings. I put shredded parmesan cheese on the crust. Bake at 350 for ~20 minutes.

  1. that sounds good, I've always wanted a good at-home pizza recipe. thanks!

  2. Problem with this is that it's so easy to just go buy a frozen pizza from the supermarket.

  3. it wont taste as good though and you'll feel proud of yourself after making your own pizza :) I'm definitely trying this soon thanks for the recipe!

  4. I've only made homemade pizza once.

I'm not a very good cook so I ended up ruining the entire thing

  5. I'm going to try this in a minute, i'm so hungry!
